Lee Johnson, CEO

Lee Johnson brings over 20 years’ experience across the justice sector. His career spans both public and private sectors with roles ranging from Prison Officer to Governor grade, Regional Director and board member.

With a background in operational management, violence reduction and education within prisons, Lee has developed deep expertise in curriculum design, employer engagement and contract management. His work has included leading high-profile justice projects, mobilising contracts and driving resettlement and rehabilitation initiatives that help individuals thrive in their next steps..

Lee’s leadership experience extends to managing large regional business units, spearheading business development and forging strategic partnerships. As CEO of ETS, he combines his operational knowledge with commercial insight to deliver innovative, high-impact training solutions that meet the needs of learners, employers and commissioners alike.

Above all, Lee is passionate about helping people achieve success and sustainable employment. He is dedicated to creating opportunities that empower individuals to develop their skills, gain confidence and secure meaningful work. Pam Fricker, Quality Lead & Trainer

With over 30 years’ experience in the education sector, Pam brings a wealth of expertise in curriculum development, teacher training and additional learning support. Throughout her career she has specialised in designing engaging employer-driven training packages that meet the needs of diverse learners in community and custodial settings.

Pam has worked closely with HM Prison Service to deliver tailored programmes that consistently achieve high Ofsted ratings. Her commitment to rigorous quality assurance and learner-centred delivery has driven significant improvements in outcomes, equipping participants with the qualifications, skills and confidence to progress into sustainable employment.

Pam’s favourite courses to deliver are First Aid and CSCS, where her friendly, professional style shines through hands-on practical sessions. She creates supportive learning environments that fosters confidence whilst building crucial health, safety and employability skills.

Passionate about social mobility and inclusivity, Pam is dedicated to ensuring every training programme not only meets the targets but also transforms lives and strengthens workforces.
