Training that leads to jobs. Social value that lasts.

We design training around real roles — and deliver it in the communities you operate in.

Construction. Rail. Security. Hospitality. Care. Customer service.
Employer-led. Community-based. Outcome-focused.

More than training — we support people into work, and help them stay there.

Engage
We create communities, not classrooms. We pop up in the local area, find people who are ready for new opportunities and open doors that might otherwise stay shut. We engage with local communities, with employers, and with funders to connect people to real opportunities.
02
Train
We design training around genuine vacancies: employer-led, sector-specific, and delivered in the community itself. No fixed centre. We come to you. Our training is accredited, industry-approved, and high quality.
03
Support
We don't disappear after the training ends. We coach, mentor and support people until they enter work. We also support employers to onboard their new recruits, ensuring people are well trained, and well placed in their new roles.

The Pop-Up Model

We don't have a training centre. That's deliberate. We go to the communities that need us — setting up delivery where people actually live, removing barriers from day one. No travel costs, no childcare barriers, no excuses not to come.

1
Employer Tells Us Their Needs
Vacancies, role specs, timelines — we start with what your business actually needs.
2
We Identify The Community
We find the right local area with the right people and embed ourselves there.
3
We Pop Up & Deliver
Training delivered locally — in community spaces, employer premises, or partner venues.
4
People Enter Your Workforce
Trained, supported, and ready — with ETS alongside them for the first crucial months.

Hard to Recruit.
Costly to Train.
Too Quick to Leave.

You're carrying Section 106 commitments or social value targets — and they're hard to evidence with anything meaningful. You have roles that stay open because the right candidates simply don't exist in the usual talent pool. And when you do recruit and invest in training, too many people leave — forcing you back to agency staff, paying the same costs all over again.

ETS solves all three. We hand-pick motivated people from local communities who are genuinely ready to work. We provide the training fully funded, at no cost to you. And we stay alongside your new starters to improve retention — giving you work-ready, committed staff while delivering real, evidenced social value.

Tell Us About Your Vacancies
01
Section 106 & Social Value
We design programmes around real local need, generating measurable social value outcomes you can evidence to funders, councils, and stakeholders. If your targets require you to reach specific groups, we can design around that too.
Women Prison-leavers Care-leavers Veterans Long-term unemployed People from the local community
02
Hard-to-Fill Vacancies
We go into communities, identify motivated people, and build a training programme around your exact roles — so candidates arrive ready for your specific jobs, not generic work.
03
Fully Funded Training
We access funded routes to cover training costs — so you get qualified, job-ready candidates without the recruitment and induction spend.
04
Ongoing Employment Support
Our employment leads work alongside learners after training — supporting them into work and through the early weeks. Not everyone enters employment immediately, and we don't walk away until they do.

Already have a team?

We develop them too.

Upskill existing employees Build technical capability and role-specific skills for people already in post.
Compliance & certification Renew qualifications, update safety training and close compliance gaps.
Progression into new roles Support people ready to step up — so you retain your best staff instead of losing them.
Supervisors & future leaders First-line management and leadership development for people moving into senior roles.
Programmes for existing staff can be delivered through funded routes, commercial contracts — or a blend of both.
No training costs to you

Training is fully funded through DWP, DfE or Skills Bootcamp routes. You provide the need — we access the funding.

Guaranteed interviews — your shortlist, your choice

You choose who to interview from our trained cohort. No obligation to take anyone who isn't right for you.

Employment support — beyond the course

Our employment leads work alongside learners after training ends, supporting them into and within work. Not everyone enters employment immediately — and we don't walk away until they do.

Social value evidence — audit-ready

We provide clear outcomes data aligned to TOMs themes, suitable for procurement reporting, bids and Section 106 compliance. No additional burden on your team.

Common Questions

What do we actually have to do?
Tell us your vacancies, role requirements and timelines. Attend a short briefing so we can design training around your specific needs. Then get involved in the way that works best for you — whether that's coming in to talk about your world of work, offering a site visit or work experience, running a toolbox talk, or giving an inspirational talk about your career. Interviews on completion are one option, not the only one. We handle the training; you shape how much you want to be part of it.
What if the candidates aren't right for us?
You're never obliged to hire anyone who isn't the right fit. Guaranteed interviews mean you'll always see the cohort — but the hiring decision is yours. We'd rather you make the right hire than the easy one. If a cohort doesn't meet expectations, we want to know — and we'll work with you to understand why.
How quickly can you move?
Faster than you'd expect. We've mobilised programmes in under four weeks from initial conversation. We're a family business — no committees, no delays. If you have a timeline, tell us and we'll work backwards from it.
What areas do you cover?
We operate nationally. Because we use a pop-up model — no fixed centre — we can go wherever there's employer demand and a community ready to meet it. We currently have active delivery in Oxford, Kent, Plymouth, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridge and Scotland (Peterhead), with programmes planned across further regions. Talk to us about your location.

Social value isn't a box to tick.
It's a business case.

Under PPN 06/20, 10% of all central government contract scores must be awarded on social value. Section 106 agreements, local authority procurement and major infrastructure frameworks carry similar obligations. ETS exists to help you meet them — with outcomes that are real, measurable, and audit-ready.

TOMs Theme 1
Grow Local Jobs & Skills
Every ETS programme prioritises local recruitment. We work within your contract geography, targeting unemployed residents and underrepresented groups — generating the local employment outcomes that score highest in procurement frameworks.
TOMs Theme 2
Invest in Wellbeing
Our programmes address the whole person — not just skills. Mental health first aid, financial literacy, and personal resilience are built into every cohort, generating measurable wellbeing outcomes alongside employment ones.
TOMs Theme 5
Promote Equal Opportunity
We specifically target groups who face the greatest barriers: prison-leavers, care-leavers, long-term unemployed people, veterans, and women entering male-dominated industries. Each placement is a high-value social outcome under national frameworks.
Section 106
Planning Obligations — Evidenced
We provide structured outcomes reporting aligned to your planning obligations — headcounts, qualifications, employment entries, and in-work support. Suitable for submission to local authorities and planning committees without additional burden on your team.
TOMs-aligned outcomes reporting
Social Value Act 2012 compliant

What Makes Us Different

Family Business
Personal, direct, and genuinely invested in every outcome. When you work with ETS, you deal with people who care — not an account manager in a call centre. Don't mistake that for small scale: we deliver nationally for some of the UK's largest contractors.
Quick & Responsive
We move fast. If you have vacancies to fill in six weeks, we'll make it happen. No committees. No delays. Just the right training, at the right time.
Pop-Up Model
We don't have a fixed training centre — deliberately. We go to the communities that need us, from Plymouth to Peterhead and everywhere in between, removing barriers to attendance before they can become reasons not to come.
Social Value Built In
Every programme creates measurable community impact. We track it, evidence it, and help you report it — turning your workforce investment into a social value story. We do the hard work so you don't have to.
Truly UK Wide
Plymouth to Peterhead — and everywhere in between. We operate nationally, making us the right partner for large contractors and national employers with multi-site needs. No geography is out of reach.

Three Realities.
One Bespoke Programme.

Every programme we design starts from the same three truths. Ignore any one of them and the training fails. Hold all three together and you get something that actually works — for employers, for learners, and for the communities they're part of.

1
The Employer's Reality
What does the employer actually need? Real vacancies, specific role requirements, timelines, and local labour market context. We start here — always.

The Delivery Reality
Where are we delivering? Available venues, local facilities, community context, and practical logistics. We work with what's there — not what we wish was there.

When we align all three realities, we create training that genuinely connects people to employment — and keeps them there.

The People Behind The Numbers

James
Construction · Suffolk Skills Bootcamp · Sizewell C

"I am working on the biggest project in Europe, which I am so proud to be involved in."

James had been out of work for three months, with bills mounting and growing reliance on family support. He was referred to the ETS Skills Bootcamp through his local Jobcentre. After gaining his CPCS A73, CSCS Green Card and a suite of site safety qualifications, he attended an Employability Day — and was offered a job on the spot. He's now working on Sizewell C, one of the largest construction projects in Europe.

Mark
Rail/CSCS · HMP The Mount · Released 2025

"For the first time in many years, he no longer feels that his past defines his future."

Mark served a lengthy sentence and left prison convinced his working life was over. He had experience on oil rigs but licensing conditions restricted where he could work post-release. ETS navigated those restrictions, worked their employer network, and secured him a labouring role within weeks — with a confirmed longer-term position lined up as soon as the site opens.

Ryan
Rail/CSCS · HMP The Mount · Released 2025

"It killed me — but I loved it so much!"

Ryan served in the military before a medical discharge and a subsequent conviction. He came to ETS with real drive but genuine nerves about whether any employer would take a chance on him. We tailored his CV, worked our network, and supported him through the process — carefully, so he wasn't set up to fail. He received multiple job offers and secured an interview for the London Underground. He sent us a video from his first shift on the track.

Dean
Construction · Kent Skills Bootcamp · Gravesend

"The course has given me back my confidence. I was experiencing depression, and without the training I wouldn't have been able to get back into work."

Dean had been unemployed for 18 months and was struggling with depression. After completing the ETS Kent Skills Bootcamp — gaining his CPCS A73 and CSCS Green Card — his confidence returned. He started playing football again, met someone in construction through the game, and was offered a job. "Getting a job has helped me reconnect with my daughter, and I am able to earn money and pay the bills."

Luke
Rail · Kent Skills Bootcamp · Folkestone

"After completing the bootcamp, I submitted my updated CV to a rail company and was offered a role within a few days."

Luke had recently left the army and found the transition to civilian life harder than expected. Unemployment was affecting his motivation and wellbeing. He joined the ETS Kent Skills Bootcamp and gained his PTS Sentinel Card, CSCS Green Card and NPORS Vehicle Marshal qualification. Within days of finishing he was in a rail job — and has since gained his High Speed ticket.

"The bootcamp has left me feeling so positive and has rebuilt my confidence within myself."

Our Values

Purpose & ImpactWe make decisions through the lens of learner outcomes. What will make the most difference?
Teamwork & SupportWe pull together. Everyone succeeds when people feel supported and respected.

Accountability & OwnershipWe do what we say we'll do, and we own outcomes — not excuses.

A Family
Business.
Built On
Relationships.

ETS is a family business — and that matters. It means every decision is personal. When you work with us, you're not dealing with an account manager in a call centre; you're working with people who care deeply about the outcomes and who move quickly when something needs to happen.

"We don't have a fixed centre because we don't believe training should happen somewhere else. It should happen where people are."

We value relationships above everything — with the employers who trust us to build their teams, with the commissioners who fund our work, with the learners who show up ready for change, and with the community partners who help us reach them. We're responsive, direct, and we go to where we're needed.

We're growing — but carefully. We expand into new regions and sectors only when we can maintain the quality and personal attention that makes ETS different. Slow enough to be excellent. Fast enough to matter.
