This qualification is specifically designed to allow qualified first aiders to update their first aid skills yearly, until requalification training is required.

Medical Summary: Any employee must have a PTS Medical before attending a PTS course to work on Network Rail Infrastructure. The PTS medical is designed to ensure that all individuals in safety critical roles have physical capacity to be reliably safe when working on tracks, for their own benefit and for those around them.

This classroom-based refresher course is intended for existing PTS competency holders who wish to continue working on or near the line on Network Rail’s infrastructure, including working near or adjacent to a DC Conductor Rail, and wish to be re-certificated. Please Note: Only the Primary Sponsor (Rail Employer) can book this course, as per the Sentinel Scheme Rules.
